On September 7, 2023, what began as a routine welfare check at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport spiraled into a chaotic display of entitlement and aggression. Airport officers were dispatched to a terminal gate following reports of an intoxicated female passenger causing a disturbance after being denied boarding.

The bodycam footage begins with officers attempting to speak calmly with the woman, who was reportedly slumped near a gate. When asked how much she had to drink, she claimed, “I had two glasses of wine,” a classic understatement given her slurred speech and inability to stand steady. As officers explained she could not fly in her condition and needed to leave the secure area, her demeanor shifted from confused to belligerent.

“I don’t like people to lie to me,” the officer stated, trying to de-escalate the situation. However, the passenger refused to exit the terminal, forcing officers to arrest her for public intoxication. The situation immediately turned volatile. She went “dead weight,” refusing to walk, and unleashed a torrent of ear-piercing screams that echoed through the terminal.

The video captures the woman invoking her family connections as a shield against the consequences of her actions. “My dad is a lawyer! My uncle probably trained you!” she yelled, threatening the officers’ careers. “I will have your f***ing job. It’s not cute, bro.”

The incident reached its peak violence during transport. While being escorted, the woman lashed out physically. “You just kicked me,” an officer is heard saying clearly on the recording. despite the video evidence, she vehemently denied the assault, screaming, “I didn’t kick anybody!”

Her reliance on her family’s status failed to prevent her incarceration. Instead of a flight to Seattle, she was transported to jail. The woman was charged with Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest, and Assault on a Public Servant—a serious felony that no amount of screaming about her father could make disappear.
